Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement. The origin of Ikebana can be traced back to the ancient Japanese custom of erecting evergreen trees and decorating them with flowers to summon and please the gods.
Practice this traditional art form right at home with the help of these Ikebana Brass Frogs. By placing them on top of the opening of your vase, you create more stability with your arrangement and have full control over the placement of each stem or branch.
Available in two styles - Multi Stem and Branches - to support different arrangement looks. They were designed to pair with the Bloomist Ikebana Vases, although they work equally well with other vases and containers, including simple Mason jars.

Care: We prefer the natural beauty of letting brass age gracefully and do not apply a lacquer finish to these. To maintain a shiny finish, wash with soapy water and use a brass cleaner like Brasso or Barkeeper's Friend. The natural approach is to combine the juice of half a lemon with a teaspoon of baking soda and stir until it becomes a paste. Apply the paste with a soft cloth. If the tarnish is heavy, let the piece sit with the paste on it for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and dry. Repeat if necessary.
