Love & Peace Framed Painting

In this this original art piece by Mexican artist, Luis Romero, we see an angel calling for amor y paz, or love and peace.  Each piece is painted on papel amate, a traditional Mexican paper, signed by the artist, and set in a hand-built, golden-leaf wooden frame with a Maria Luisa mat. Because of the handmade nature of these paintings, they will vary slightly in design, color, and size, making each a true original. 

Luis Romero is a self-taught artist, born and raised in Mexico City. Inspired by the faces of farmers and flower sellers, revolutionaries and ritual makers, Luis’ folkloric illustrations are storytellers that convey his deep affection for Mexico's culture and people.
