Siblings Maria and Santiago named Chechen Wood Design after the Chechén tree, which typically lives to more than 100 years old. Their mission is to breathe new life into wood offcuts by transforming them into handmade dishes and tabletop accessories as functional as they are beautiful.

Each piece is handmade by master carpenters in Guadalajara using Mexican artisanal techniques.
